Product Overview
A straight tee is a T-shaped pipe fitting where the branch pipe intersects the main pipe at a right angle, with their centerlines aligned. It's mainly used for branching or merging in piping systems. The key difference between a straight tee and a wye (Y-shaped) tee is the angle of the branch connection: a straight tee is 90°, while a wye tee is not.
Product Description
Detailed Description
The grooved straight tee features a single-piece cast body with grooved ends on all three ports; it is a prefabricated fitting connected to three sections of roll-grooved steel pipe using three couplings (steel clamps). The branch pipe is oriented at a 90° angle to the main pipe, and all three ports share the same nominal diameter (e.g., DN100×100×100).
