A threaded tee is a tee pipe fitting that connects by threads, also called a threaded T. It’s used where a pipeline needs a branch and seals and secures just by tightening the inner and outer threads, no welding required. How to connect: either two or three ends have pipe threads, commonly female or male threads. When installing, just wrap with PTFE tape or sealant and then tighten.

Grooved-to-Threaded Reducing Tee: features grooved ends on the left and right (for coupling connections to the main pipe) and a female threaded side outlet (not fully grooved).
- Material: QT450-10 Ductile Iron (ASTM A536 65-45-12 compliant)
- Surface Finish: Fire-red electrostatic epoxy coating; plastic lining or galvanizing available for water supply applications
- Threads: Rc internal tapered pipe threads (GB standard) or NPT internal threads (for export)
- Sealing: Grooved ends equipped with EPDM rubber gaskets
- Standards: GB5135.11, GB/T36019; UL/FM/CE certifications available
- Rated Pressure: 1.6 MPa / 2.5 MPa (1.6 MPa commonly used for fire protection)
- Media: Fire-fighting water, clean water; Temperature range: -34°C to 110°C
