The way a slotted clamp works is by tightening the bolts, which makes the steel band of the clamp tighten up and securely hold the objects being connected, achieving a fixed or sealed effect. As the bolts are tightened, the slotted parts of the steel band gradually come closer and press against each other, creating radial pressure that firmly holds pipes or other objects inside the clamp. At the same time, thanks to the slotted design, the clamp can better fit the shape and surface of the objects during tightening, making the pressure more evenly distributed and improving both the sealing and fastening performance.
